This is a research role working with a truly diverse range of clients and projects; the work is so varied that you could find yourself working on multi-country programmes to omnibus research to UK ad hoc pieces, across a range of sectors – you won’t get bored in this role!
It has a strong consultancy focus; questionnaire design and an excellent understanding of data & data delivery are fundamental, but you will also be providing a high level of expertise to clients who are not always researchers and therefore often require support and guidance through the data interpretation; this is where you will have the opportunity to really add value to your clients’ research.
The research is fast-paced and there is a real energy about the team and the work; the culture is fun and collaborative and this is something that the business has worked hard to achieve, so a positive and energetic approach to your work will be well received here.
You will need extensive research and project management experience with strong commercial drive and leadership skills; you might be a researcher who enjoys the research design and delivery, but isn’t so interested in wading through lots of data or you might be an end-to-end PM professional who has experience in questionnaire design and delivery. Either way, you’ll need experience in a wide range of quant techniques and be used to designing questionnaires, resourcing, costings, sample management, project management, analysis and you must be client facing – you will be advising lots of clients!
Strong technical skills – Powerpoint, SPSS/Survey Reporter – would be advantageous along with an interest in new ways of presenting data with impact.
You’ll need to be available immediately and open to a 2-3-month contract; there may well be a longer term opportunity at the end of the contract.
