The role provides a fantastic opportunity to work with a range of pharmaceutical clients – major global players as well as independent specialists – across therapy areas including oncology, diabetes and rare diseases. Projects are mixed methods, varied and strategic; the team are increasingly being asked to act in an advisory role to their clients; pharma companies, global charities and not for profit organisations.
Projects are broad and range from early phase development to market positioning to creative comms development and medical devices, which is a key growth area. Increasingly they have become more patient centric – understanding patient journeys including how patients move through the diagnosis and treatment process.
You’ll have access to some expert teams; digital, innovation and data science; working with these specialists to develop and implement methodologies ranging from ethnography to rapid research, communities and analytics; there really is a lot of opportunity to learn, and everyone is encouraged to explore new techniques, no matter what level.
We are looking for someone with strong healthcare experience and an interest in using new approaches for research and insight delivery; consumer experience will also be considered if you can demonstrate an interest in the healthcare sector and offer an opinion on healthcare research. Ideally with a mixed methods background, you will have a good grounding in primary quant and/or qual research techniques and the ability to think more strategically about your research e.g. ‘What is the Future of healthcare?’ Your passion for the healthcare sector and desire to improve patients’ experience will be valued enormously in this dedicated team of healthcare specialists.
