This role is truly ad hoc, and offers huge breadth, spanning a high-profile multi-market programme focused on major innovation in the FMCG arena, which is changing the face of this category to blue sky innovation in the tech space. There is huge growth opportunity on this account with many client touchpoints, markets and sub-categories so huge scope for variety; the results of this research have enormous impact within this sector.
This team is focused on all aspects of innovation and NPD research from market understanding, segmentation, ideation, concept testing, customer journeys, and U&As, and you will be using techniques including virtual reality and behavioural analysis; it’s a brilliant opportunity to explore and use a wide range of research techniques.
A high calibre project management team is in place to deal with the day-to-day operations, so you are free to focus on consultancy, and generating insight which informs the direction of your client’s innovation and NPD strategies and plans.
We are looking for a track record of leading programmes from start to finish and taking a consultative, added-value approach. You might be more focused on tracking work and be looking for more ad hoc or you might already have a mix of both. You will need an understanding of the innovation process and a genuine interest in it – but you do not need to be in innovation specialist.
