This strategic, boutique insight and planning consultancy is looking for a bright, energetic, solutions-driven individual to implement and lead their business operations.
Reporting in to the MD, the OM will play a central role within the business; being the ‘go to’ person for all internal functions; creating new systems, improving ways of working and troubleshooting.
The role is multi-faceted with responsibility for the following areas: (in order of importance):
- HR – on-boarding new team members
- Financials – Leading the transition to an online based accountancy software provider
- Operations/Office management – Space planning, health and safety, and sustainability
- IT – liaising with their IT consultancy
- Legal and Compliance – management and continual development of GDPR
We need a talented operations manager, someone who can inspire confidence across the business with their calm and thoughtful approach.
Attitude and approach to work are key; as important as exposure to internal functions such as HR, Finance and IT; this could be someone who has worked in a business operations role previously or has had exposure to one or more of these areas in an administrative capacity.
Above all, if you can make things happen; be proactive, reliable, collaborative and confident and not afraid to take on a new challenge (eg. able to take on tasks and run with them, even when outside of your comfort zone), this could be a great opportunity for you.
The culture here is open, friendly and energetic. Everyone sits together and supports one another and it’s a grown-up environment with a good work-life balance (everyone works from home on Fridays).
