This leading social research team with a reputation for delivering the highest quality research will be running a huge new comms evaluation programme for a key government department. This role will head the quant side of that programme, leading on the design, set up and ongoing delivery. You will be focused on this one client, seen as very much part of the client team and very often based at their near-by office. Your overall focus will be to ensure that campaigns lead to the desired behaviour change. This is an opportunity to use your quant comms background to make a real difference to our society and peoples’ lives.
This role will see you leading on the quant side of all aspects of comms evaluation for this prestigious client. Highly consultative, you will work in partnership – this role is the epitome of “trusted advisor”. Focused on large-scale campaign evaluation, you will work with the client and other agencies (media, creative etc) to ensure the delivery of campaigns which drive change, often amongst vulnerable groups of people.
We are looking for someone who is driven by rigour and delivering great quality work. You will need to be a quant specialist with a comms background – and have an interest, if not experience in, social research. An understanding of qual and mixed methods experience would be ideal. You’ll need excellent client development experience – not in terms of business development – this part is done; the programme is won. It is more about understanding and responding to client challenges, being able to advise on techniques and approaches, and being able to establish a relationship based on your credibility and ability to add value.
This is going to be a pacey account – so we need someone who loves challenge, variety and who enjoys being visible, someone who is very happy to attend client meetings, discuss challenges and give a considered view.
And we need someone who enjoys being a role model to a team, who has a track record of developing people and nurturing talent.
