This data-driven global consulting firm has blazed a trail in the corporate reputation and corporate comms arenas. Working with some of the world’s leading companies, they have experienced consistent and significant growth. Innovative and forward-thinking, they are continually developing new services and ways of working, further establishing their position as a leading light in this fast-growing area. As such, they are creating a new team of industry analysts to generate industry-specific content – everything from short snap-shots to major reports, all to keep their presence fresh, memorable and powerful in the reputation space.
In this role, you will be one of six industry analysts, all focused on 2-3 of their own industry sectors across the organisation’s key markets. Using the vast internal data available and a wide range of secondary research, your focus would be creating content for your sectors to use with both existing and potential clients. This will be very wide-ranging, from sound-bites/key facts and figures that senior executives and client-facing directors can use at conferences and with key clients to 1-2 page industry briefings to 20-30 page expert reports and everything in between. The content consist of overviews, trends and patterns, responding to new/emerging events and using these to comment on industry-wide reputation issues and very often, you’ll often be using what is happening in the news agenda to instruct your focus
For this role, we to see strong data skills – this is a role for someone who is used to and enjoys working with large data sets, and who is a critical thinker. You will need excellent writing skills and, very importantly, an interest in corporate and current affairs. This is not a client facing role – your clients will be internal: senior executives, the client service directors etc, so there are no commercial pressures, no proposal writing, pitching etc. And you do not need to be a reputation specialist – a genuine interest will suffice.
As a new team in the organisation, this is all very high profile, so there is plenty of chance to shine and develop. And as these are new roles, the level of person they are open to is very broad hence the wide salary range.
