This mid-sized independent agency, focused on communication and reputation research, is growing at a pace and as a result, they are hiring for a senior member of the team. With a focus on global stakeholder work, this role offers strategic leadership of very high-profile clients, as well as of a team. Mixed methods, this is all ad hoc work with a very clear focus on impact in terms of driving stakeholder perception and so corporate/brand reputation, value and trust.
This work is focused on enhancing corporate reputation, competitive positioning and brand health. From local, global and hard-to-reach audiences, stakeholders include consumers, employees, business audiences, patient groups, journalists, policymakers, regulators, NGOs, activists and influencers. Very often these outputs will be combined with media analysis and wider metrics which give clients actionable insights around strategy and action – both in terms of long-term planning and also proactive and reactive crisis planning.
In this role you will be leading key client accounts and building relationships, designing and overseeing multi-audience, multi-market and multi-method research programmes, providing strategic counsel on implications for brand and reputation as well as leading, motivating and mentoring your team. Developing the business will be a key part of your remit – through networking, marketing and thought leadership activity – and proposal writing and pitching.
We are looking for a seasoned stakeholder research specialist, someone who has worked with multi-audiences across markets and methods – in a reputation, comms or brand context. We need mixed methods expertise and credibility and gravitas that clients, who are often senior corporate comms and/or public affairs leaders, will trust. We also need to see a track record in driving revenue growth.
As well as this, important are: integrity and honesty, curiosity, an open mind, a self-starting attitude and a genuine interest in reputation measurement and data-driven insights.
Going forward, this role will be equally split between WFH and the office; so, there is a lot of flexibility.
