This agency really hits the mark in terms of their clients, the quality of their work and their culture. Multiple award-winning, they are well known for getting to the hearts and minds of consumers, developing new and innovative approaches and for being a wonderful place to work: consistent feedback is that this is a collaborative, friendly and fun place to be.
Genuinely integrated across qual and quant, their client base includes technology, gaming, media, FMCG, retail, social and international development – simply, they work with the very best clients around.
This Research Executive position is very much a ‘learning role’; Working, primarily, within the social research team, you’ll be assisting on research for Charities, NGOs and Government clients. The work they do in this team is fascinating and varied; ranging from research for UK Charities exploring the relationship between consumers and debt to international agencies aiming to improve the lives of women in developing countries.
Although focused on social research, you’ll also have the opportunity to work on more commercial clients; media, FMCG, sport and retail brands are just a few of the sectors that the agency works in. This role offers huge variety: recent projects include developing a new product for a leading FMCG brand and creating a new rule book for a developing sport on behalf of a leading sport body.
What really stands out here is the genuine level of care this agency has for their staff group. There is a focus on ensuring the field work is manageable and that evening work is evenly distributed, there is scope for development with a focus on training and promoting from within – many people here have been promoted through the business – and a resounding feeling that people are genuinely happy to be here. They lose very few of their researchers to competing agencies. As a result, they remain a ‘destination agency of choice’ for candidates.
You will need some hands-on qual experience: be able to manage fieldwork and analysis and know what good research looks like. You must be passionate and excited about research and people: what makes them tick and what this means for your clients’ brands. And we are looking for enthusiasm, a willingness to get ‘stuck in’, a proactive approach, great attention to detail and honed organisational skills.
