This is a very unusual qual role, focused on consulting around all things brands and branding. You will be advising and guiding a very impressive portfolio of well-known and leading clients in a fun, supportive environment where you will have the opportunity to develop and grow. This is what one of the qual team said about it here:
“This is such an amazing place to develop my career and qualitative expertise. The client range is unmatched, the client briefs are super-interesting and the access to intellectual property, cultural resources and data is unrivalled. It’s all wrapped up in a team of super clever, kind and supportive people who want each individual and the whole team to be happy, thrive and enjoy coming to work.”
This role, focused on brands and branding, will see you help your client’s brands create impact, grow and dominate their categories. You will be creating meaningful, current and powerful brand positionings, ensuring connection and standout with key audiences, identify opportunities in the changing marketplace, create and hone brand strategies and inform marketing tactics.
Working with leading organisations and upcoming brands across a wide range of sectors from FMCG, entertainment and sports through to financial services, the work is very global.
Recent projects include: helping one of the world’s leading skincare brands define its new brand proposition globally and creating a billion-euro proposition across multiple markets; supporting a global bank in redefining in its inclusion and diversity strategy to better grow and retain its top talent to make it an employer brand of choice – and facilitating more women into senior roles within the organisation; advising one of the world’s most loved and well- known beer brands on how to be more relevant at different moments through understanding regional and cultural differences in the UK. The work is hugely varied, highly strategic and the client questions are challenging and complex.
The focus here is on consulting and adding value to your clients. At this level, as well as supporting your (brilliant and inspirational) directors on big-budget programmes, you can expect to lead your own smaller clients – with appropriate support. You will be given as much responsibility as you are ready for.
And you will be in an environment of bright, supportive, spark people who have a lot of fun along the way.
In this role we need someone who is truly passionate about brands and brand development. You will take a consulting approach and enjoy advising your clients. You will need to be comfortable running your own projects or parts of projects, being involved in taking a client brief and understanding the issues and objectives, writing smaller proposals and inputting into more complex ones, managing your own smaller clients, writing discussion guides, conducting field work, getting involved with ethnographic studies and workshops and playing a key role in debriefs – both in terms of involvement in writing and presenting. We need someone who can organise their own work, who has get up and go in spades and who is keen to learn, develop and challenge themselves.
This really is a place where you can stay, develop yourself and get on in your career.
Business is absolutely booming in this agency and it is a hugely exciting time to join this very successful and highly regarded business.
