They tend to attract researchers who are keen to work in a different type of research environment. Typically, you would have a strong quant research skill set with a view to then taking on the management consultancy thinking, problem solving and reporting style that helps shape and define their approaches. If you have exposure to qual, all the better!
As a part of the core team, you will get excellent training and exposure along with the opportunity to deliver complex, strategic projects for senior stakeholders, work collaboratively with team members and take on responsibility for shaping their clients brands and businesses. What is great is that you will be integral to the project from the start. What you really need to thrive here is the right attitude. You’ll need to have an excellent grounding in quantitative market research and demonstrate outstanding client facing, problem solving and presenting skills.
