This award-winning research and strategy consultancy has the best clients in media and sport. Everyone wants to work with them; they pick and choose their work. They have won countless awards and are fast tracked to being the thought leaders in the media, digital and sports space.
It’s a great time to join and they are looking for either a Quantitative Research Executive or Senior Research Executive to join their growing team In Leeds. With a core hub based in London, there will also be a requirement for the occasional London trip – team sessions, training etc.
What is different about this agency is the strategic focus and the calibre of the people. Their USP is that they have a hybrid offer combing true consulting through their strategy team alongside their research. Culture wise, it’s young, bright, fast paced. They tend to focus on the more complex studies and are at the forefront in terms of looking at new ways of doing things.
Looking at the work they do, a couple of examples of projects include:
- Exploring engagement with a key rugby tournament coverage across the UK
- Evaluating the pathway to encourage men over 35 to continue playing football
- Tracking global trends in terms of what type of media content people are most interested in to support a global media and tech giant in their decisions about commissioning new TV shows, audiobooks and podcasts.
Our client has just won a brilliant new ongoing research project within the sports gaming sector. As a newly created role, you will be key to the success of this project which is right at the start of its journey. Whilst there will be some regular reporting focused in awareness and usage, the reporting will typically be more bespoke ie picking out different topics and stories to report back on. With this tracking project accounting for around 60% of you work (will vary depending on time of year, other projects etc) the rest will be ad hoc and truly bespoke quant projects within media and/or sport.
You’ll need grounded quant research skills including some exposure to tracking research along with solid project management skills. Added to this, analysis, story telling an client facing are big tick boxes. This can either be in media or other sectors – if other sectors, you will need to demonstrate a genuine interest in media and sport.
