The role of Scripting Consultant is two-fold. Technically, you’ll be conversant in scripting using Confirmit, Reportal and/or Decipher for survey programming and SPSS (or other packages) for data processing. Secondly, your experience gained in either market research operations or in data processing will stand you in good stead to deal with clients directly in scoping, costing, scheduling and executing fast turnaround ad-hoc research projects. You’ll be using your scripting expertise and be the main point of contact for your client, not something you see in every agency!
