This research and brand consultancy is an entrepreneurial hive for researchers who work on qual, quant and mixed methods research projects. The business is split in to three key areas – fashion and lifestyle, home and family and food and drink.
We are looking for a budding qual or mixed methods Senior Consultant (top end Research Manager) to join the fashion and lifestyle team to work on some fascinating projects. At this level, you’ll need to be able to demonstrate a solid commercial outlook and be comfortable presenting to clients. Entrepreneurial spirit is key. They look for people who can take research that bit further; be bold and tell clients “this is what you need to do” and not just present a set of research results.
Their work spans market landscaping, segmentation, consumer trends, brand tracking, brand strategy research, comms, NPD, shopper and path to purchase research. Their mission is to provide brands with the insight and guidance to help them grow.
As part of the Consulting team, your agency experience as a qual researcher will be put in to good use. You’ll be a dab hand at taking projects from an exploratory ‘we’re thinking about using market research’ client conversation to wowing them with some impressive Insight and narratives. Of course, this requires you to be skilled in every aspect of qualitative research, from brainstorming to writing skills to creative output and presentation of recommendations to the clients. You will often be presenting at board level, so confidence in public speaking is essential. A lot of the projects are mixed methods so if this is something you enjoy, then this really is the perfect opportunity as these roles are few and far between.
As part of a wider group, the business is, financially, in very good health. Everyone in the group sits under one roof in a contemporary, open plan office close to London Bridge. The culture is one where people work together and help each other. People here are invested, excited and believe in what they are doing – it feels like a great place to work.
