We are looking for a passionate, driven and team-oriented star-in-the-making with a background in insight, branding, innovation or planning. This agency prides itself on getting to the nub of client challenges and they do it across a wide range of difficult client questions for a range of leading global brands. Award winning, they are high profile as a result of the quality of their work and also their culture: there is a real team spirit here where people genuinely help each other achieve great work, where success is openly recognised and where people can be themselves: it was described to us as offering “a sense of home”.
Much of the work this agency does is around blue-sky questions: what is the future of mobility, how/should this brand expand and where/what should that look like, as well as the ongoing bread and butter ad hoc questions. They work closely with their clients – the focus is on creating strong, long term relationships, and these go beyond the client insight teams to the marketing, branding and product innovation/engineering teams. The work they do truly informs strategy and direction.
Very international, the work includes traditional and online. Very qual in nature, you’ll need both traditional and on-line qual skills. There is some quant and some experience of this would be a bonus – but it is definitely not a must have. What is important – as well as a passion for insight, is curiosity, energy, always looking for the next thing and how to do things better, a team approach and a love of variety.
You’ll have 2-3 key strategic accounts so you’ll be helping build relationships with these clients, getting to know their businesses and overseeing insight that helps them really move their business and brands forward. Consumer understanding, all aspects of innovation and product development, messaging… the work is broad – this will suit someone who really does think that variety is the spice of life!
This is a role for someone who embraces diversity – people come to this agency from research agencies, ad agencies and brand consultancies; there are lots of bi/multi-lingual people here, lots of people from different countries.
This role wears a strategic hat and adds value to the work of the junior members of the team. Managing a small team yourself, we need to see a track record of management, mentoring and providing support.
Setting a vision for the team and keeping work on track, whilst there are no targets at this level, you will be expected to keep an eye out for new opportunities to grow the business.
This is a fast-paced environment and will suit someone who is organised, flexible, adaptable and loves to work on a rich variety of challenges.
