This is a front-facing, “fame-making” role, both at a client and an industry level.
You will be consulting with clients, understanding their issues, offering a perspective and a solution. You will need to have experience in segmentation and brand positioning along with credibility and gravitas to add value to the most senior clients. You will be passionate about all things “brand” – how to help clients grow their brands on a global level and identifying what needs to be done to prioritise growth.
You will be responsible for ensuring that clients are made aware of the most up-to-date developments on offer to them. You will be the expert on the ever-evolving and ground-breaking suite of tools, ensuring clients are kept informed about the benefits they bring to their brands. So you will need to be genuinely excited about tech and the results it can produce. You do not need to be a technical expert, but you need to be passionate about what tech can deliver for clients – and be able to clearly explain this.
This is not a sales role – there are no targets other than the overall departmental budgets which you will contribute towards. This is about being an expert and being able to tell and show clients what these tools bring to the table. Often working at the cutting edge, there is also plenty of opportunity to bring your ideas to the table and create new offers – you will have the technical support and financial backing to develop these.
At an industry level, you will be leading on marketing activity, shining a light on the offers and developments and ensuring this organisation and the work it does gets the profile it deserves – whether that be leading on webinars, media representation, events etc.
