This is a rare opportunity to be involved in the end-to-end management of major research programmes for high profile brands, to help define and implement best in class project management and to help grow and develop a team. This project management team works side by side with their researcher-colleagues. Very much a relationship of equals, the PM team is involved in the management of end-to-end programmes from recommending methodologies and approaches through to managing all aspects of delivery. Currently providing a full PM service on many of the larger accounts as well as providing a consultancy service around all aspects of PM to the research team, the intention is grow the PM team and take on more responsibility for delivering major programmes.
The team is very client facing: you can expect to be updating clients, responding to their requests, involved in pitches and client meetings. You will get to see the impact of your work in terms of driving brand growth and providing insight which enables clients to achieve their commercial objectives.
As well as running projects, a key part of this role will be to help create and put in place processes and to increase efficiency and speed; working with automation and technical teams, you will be able to get involved in developing and implementing new ways of working.
A key aspect of this role is to develop and support junior members of the team, both mentoring and supporting them to bring out the very best in them.
This team is headed by a hugely experienced and inspiring leader who has great plans for this team and wants to bring on board brilliant people to help him develop and shape the project management offer and the team. As such, as well as being involved in big budget, big brand research programmes, you will be able stick your hand up to do so much more, whilst learning from both him and his senior team. This is definitely not a standard PM role!
