The role of the strategy team is to bring focus, clarity and simplicity to the challenging decisions brands and businesses must make in an increasingly complex world. As a senior strategist, you will lead teams day-to-day in identifying opportunity, structuring approach and inspiring new thinking. Their work is outstanding, bold and interesting; very strong in FMCG, this includes strategically evolving brands through packaging design, shaking up an established category through innovation and repositioning brands with astonishing results.
We are looking for an insight led consultant who is comfortable with right- and left-brain thinking in order to approach challenges both critically and creatively, while communicating persuasively and demonstrating an uncompromising work ethic. You will also need to have a firm grasp of brand and design strategy fundamentals within FMCG.
Key to this role is being able to use your analytical skills to uncover opportunities and illuminate a path forward. We are looking for someone who is able to activate core insight and brand building tools while constantly looking to evolve and invent tools to meet changing needs. Client facing and someone who enjoys getting “amongst it”, you will need to be comfortable with workshopping as well as experienced in designing and delivering research which engages key stakeholders.
Insight is so important; decisions and the way forward are derived from it. You will therefore need to have a track record of developing insights which are original, thought provoking and inspire ideas. With your finger on the pulse, cultural insights and trends will be part of your outputs along with experience of working with creative teams.
