This established independent agency with a wealth of long-standing, leading-brand clients offers a rare combination of vision and sensibly ambitious growth plans, smart thinking culminating in award winning work and what is described as an ‘accommodating, supportive and respectful’ culture. They are keen to bring on board client-facing research candidates who love the insight and have an eye to helping their clients tackle their business challenges.
This agency is hugely well regarded by clients – so much so that when clients move on to new organisations, they usually take this agency with them. As such they have very close client relationships and their clients are open to thinking and doing things differently.
Working across a wide range of sectors including food and drink, education, care and health – to name a few – their work spans tracking and ad hoc and is often mixed methods.. The client questions are equally broad including customer experience, branding, innovation and comms and they tend to be skewed towards the more challenging questions. The priority is about providing insights and answers their clients can work with and implement to make a difference – and there are lots of examples where their insights have directly impacted on and been embedded into their clients’ businesses.
This is a lovely culture – ambitious in a good way, a very pleasant place to work with a lot of trust and genuine care. Forward thinking, they have invested in project management and data visualisation teams – their outputs are described as “wonderful” – they really stand out.
The client relationships are close so this side is very important – you can expect lots of face time with clients. We need to see a track record of adding value to client thinking and a drive to answer the “so what” questions so the insight delivers impact and answers for clients.
In addition, we need to see strong analysis and project management skills across tracking and ad hoc. We need a strong client focus and someone who enjoys developing their clients and spotting opportunities to add value and expand the agency’s remit. Some exposure to customer experience would be ideal, but this is not a deal-breaker – an interest is enough.
If you are looking to work in a high calibre agency with sharp, agile-thinking people AND you want a decent work-life balance, please do get in touch.
