Project Management Director – client facing; leadership role; working with senior research and operational stakeholders on a global digital account

Senior level research project management opportunities are few and far between and this one has it all!  From being the client facing PM lead on a super exciting digital account to leading a brilliant team of project management specialists and advising senior internal and external stakeholders on ‘gold standard’ project management, this is a pivotal role!

The PM Director is a newly created position as a result of growth. You will head up all aspects of project management for a global advertising programme as the project moves into a new global development phase.

The client is a global streaming services provider and the project is a highly valued, multi layered tracking programme, with increasing amounts of ad hoc work in order to launch new markets and categories.

Your remit will be to lead the expansion of this programme, ensuring that everything is in place as it continues to grow and that it delivers the high-quality research this agency is known for on time and to budget.

You will also be responsible for creating and driving best practice and efficiencies across this project as it expands into new markets, always adding value and looking for better ways of working to deliver value to the client. As part of this, you will be driving ongoing innovation in order to create more effective ways of delivering the data – including ensuring the most up to date technology is being fully utilised.

A very client facing role, you can expect full client engagement, and will work alongside the Research Account Director to consult with the client on all areas of project management; this role is high-profile role within this business; your internal stakeholders will include senior research and operations directors.

And you will head up a small team of 2-3 project specialists – team leadership and teamwork are vital for this role – this is a cohesive team of people who are passionate, interested and want to do a great job.

For this role, we need an established and high calibre client focused project management director who has experience of running and setting up global tracking programmes – experience in tracking research is essential.

Strong ‘people skills’ are also necessary; we need a warm and engaging leader with creative energy, proactivity and the drive to make a difference. Someone who can mentor and guide the team and create strong relationships with the client, project management team and researchers.

And exceptional client skills are a must– we need gravitas and credibility – a PM expert who can add value from the get-go.
