Consultant: employee engagement research; blue chip clients; entrepreneurial, collaborative culture; exceptional development opportunities

This dynamic, ambitious and successful employee engagement consultancy has really made a name for themselves in this space. Two things immediately stand out. Firstly, their clear dedication to client delight which has resulted in an impressive list of blue-chip clients, many of which are very long-standing. And secondly, their collaborative culture – a true team spirit where people work together and support each other. There is an outstanding track record of promoting within: people stay and progress their careers here, and it is clearly a very happy place to work.

As Consultant, your work will span employee research and strategy. The remit is broad, from culture change to leadership development and engagement, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, internal comms, retention and behaviour change.

You will be working on end-to-end research programmes – either on large programmes as part of a team or running smaller projects yourself, with input from the senior team. You will be involved in every element of the programme, from taking a client brief and helping develop and design solutions, through to delivering the insight and recommendations. The focus is on getting to the nub of the challenge the client faces and providing killer insight that informs strategies and priorities. Your clients will be amongst the biggest and best – mainly blue chips – so the challenges are complex and significant.

In terms of technical skills, quantitative research skills are a must, mixed methods skills would be nice to have and story-telling skills are paramount – we need someone who is able to bring the insight to life for clients.

Team work is key here: you will work with your brilliant colleagues, including business psychologists, project managers, analysts, data scientists, developers, writers and content creators – to deliver the highest quality work.

And, you will be involved in client development, helping identify and progress with opportunities to drive growth.

For this role, we are looking for strong client management credentials, a strategic mindset and excellent communication skills. Experience in employee engagement research would be ideal, but we are also open to hearing about researchers who have a genuine interest in this area.

Equally importantly, you will need an open, collaborative style – this is a dynamic, hard-working, supportive team which is ambitious for both clients and quality of work – you will need to fit right in.

In short, this is an outstanding opportunity to develop and progress your career for the long term.
