This is a newly created, and hugely significant role in a global social research provider. Focused on learning, training and development, the Learning and Development Lead will create and deliver a first class training programme across this hugely successful business.
Championing Learning and Development within the agency, your ‘hands-on’ knowledge and expertise within research and training will stand you in good stead to lead this function, enabling you to source compelling, relevant and thought provoking content in order to create and implement a ‘best in class’ training programme for researchers at all levels across the business.
As the ‘go’ to person for anything related to training, you will work closely with the senior leadership team with a view to create and lead a learning and development strategy which is on point, delivered successfully within the UK and which can be rolled out globally.
Responsible for identifying and addressing training needs at all levels (from graduates to senior leaders), whilst you will deliver some of the training (depending on where your research expertise lies), you will also co-facilitate with other experts as well as sourcing the best external training resource available.
In terms of your background, we are looking for an established researcher who understands broad research methods and who has a genuine passion for learning and development. You will need to demonstrate your knowledge in this area through demonstrating your experience of creating development programs, training, mentoring and coaching.
A formal background in learning and development is not essential as long as you can demonstrate experience in this area, and can bring passion, ideas and a plan for the role!
With first class communication skills (written and spoken), an adaptable approach (able to engage with a wide range of audiences) and a passion for learning, this is a great opportunity to shape this role, and really make your mark within the agency.
Salary: up to 75k + excellent benefits
Location: Hybrid working – Central London and home working (UK based).
