This highly regarded, mid-sized, integrated boutique agency has a well-earned reputation for delivering impactful insight that helps their clients’ businesses and brands thrive. Their work taps into rich, emotional territory and their focus is on helping their clients make sense of what is going on, move forward and succeed. And what we really like about them is that everyone clearly enjoys working here – people we move here settle, enjoy it, learn and develop – they have one of the lowest staff turnover rates in the industry.
This agency works with some of the best-known names across a very wide range of sectors including entertainment, sport beauty, fashion, retail, food & drink and not-for-profit – the client portfolio is broad as it is impressive. They are truly trusted by their clients, who are very often senior leaders, to help them develop strategy and determine direction. They have a huge amount of influence with their clients – they are listened to and they get to see the results of their work which they find particularly rewarding. In the words of the team lead “It is really lovely to be trusted in this way, clients turn to us to unpack their challenges and they buy in to the research”.
Integrated research is at the heart of what they do so whilst this is a qual role, the quant and qual teams work closely together.
This role is working with a wide portfolio of clients across sectors including food & drink, retail, a leading sports brand, a gaming brand… The client is looking for someone who loves being client facing and getting on with the work. You will be involved in client development, and can be very involved in this if you wish, but this is not the over-riding part of the role – it is more about designing and leading on projects. The work is broad: lots of innovation, NPD, message testing, consumer understanding…so you will need to enjoy breadth.
The other key aspect of the role is on training and developing the junior team – we are looking for a role model who really enjoys mentoring people and helping them grow.
This is a lovely team: it is very supportive and the people are friends, so we need someone to fit right in.
This agency really understands and cares about its employees – asked why people enjoy being here – the answer is always the people and the fascinating work. They genuinely care about their staff group – in terms of wellbeing, a focus on training and development and a culture of promoting from within. There is a resounding feeling that people are happy to be here. They are consistently a ‘destination agency of choice’.
As this is a new role, the client is open to someone who is an early-on or established Associate Director.
