This role presents a career defining opportunity, for a passionate, senior qualitative researcher to flex their intellect in the social research arena.
Their social research team has enabled successful action on some of the nation’s biggest issues including reframing mental health, border security, climate change, economic reform, domestic violence, disability and childhood trauma.
Projects are largely bespoke and tackle the big issues of the day. They work at the cross-section of behavioural economics, strategic planning and human centred design. Their quantitative and qualitative expertise is cutting edge and their consultancy is leaned on by key figures within industry and Government.
We are looking for a qualitative research specialist to bring experience, energy, creativity and wisdom to the team. You may come from a commercial background in strategy or ad planning, or from traditional market research or evaluation, what is important is a rigorous approach to research and an interest in being a key player helping shape the growth of a thriving agency.
Writing winning proposals, running multiple programmes of work, rallying the troops and delivering awe-inspiring insights are at the heart of this role. The ability to learn, flex and change will see you move out of your comfort zone into new and fascinating areas of research. There will also be the opportunity to mentor and develop junior members of the team.

Salary: AUD $170k – $225k + super + bonus (depending on experience, skills, reputation).
