Qualitative Research Associate (SRE/RM level) – true consulting; exposure to strategic, blue sky projects; working alongside inspiring leaders

The agency has a true consultancy-style approach. They think outside the box. The focus is on the client and their challenges. The work is bespoke, strategic, long term, complex, varied and interesting. As one of their clients said “we give you the difficult and the interesting” They work with some of the highest profile blue chips and household names in existence. They also work in partnership with them. Many of their projects are “blue sky” projects in their nature ie how do we re-energise this brand across x markets, what is the future for x, how do we grow etc…

They are now hiring a Qualitative Associate which in traditional research agency-speak is Senior Research Executive or Research Manager level. You might be in a larger research agency looking to really operate at the added value-end of the spectrum. You might be in a smaller agency looking for a well resourced, consultative environment working alongside a multitude of highly respected researchers in their field. They tend to attract researchers who are keen to work in a different type of research environment. Typically, you would have a strong qualitative research skillset with a view to wanting to take this a step further in terms of problem solving.

As a part of the core team, you will get excellent training and exposure along with the opportunity to deliver complex, strategic projects for senior stakeholders, work collaboratively with team members and take on responsibility for shaping their clients brands and businesses. What is great is that you will be integral to the project from the start. You also won’t just be given “the boring stuff” – they all muck in and Associates get lots of support whilst getting exposure to exciting and high level strategic projects – more so that you would typically get elsewhere.

What you really need to thrive here is the right attitude. You’ll need to have an excellent grounding in qualitative market research and demonstrate outstanding client facing, problem solving and presenting skills.
