Qualitative Research Executive; social research; renowned boutique agency; excellent opportunity to learn and develop

This highly regarded, mid-sized boutique agency has a well-earned reputation for delivering great quality work; they have long-standing and close client relationships and are seen as part of their clients’ teams.

This role sits in the qual team and focuses on their social/not for profit clients. This is an impressive portfolio of high-profile organisations and charities. Your focus will be on the agency’s largest social client – this is a large and longstanding client and the client only works with this agency for their qual – so you would get heaps of exposure to a wide range of client questions. You will also be exposed to a wide range of other clients with a broad focus including mental health, poverty and alcohol use.

There are so many great briefs coming up in this area, many of them strategic and important in nature. From designing and improving services which really help people in their day-to-day lives, including people with wide-ranging needs, through to message creation/comms testing to ensure people understand about the availability of key services and how to use them.

Many of the client relationships are extremely close, so much so this team often help the clients identify the specifics of their challenges before proposing a way forward and running the research programmes.

Clients trust this agency to recommend the best methodologies and they are guided by the insight.

Integrated research is at the heart of what this agency does so whilst this is a qual role, the quant and qual teams work closely together.

For this role, we are looking for someone who has exposure to qualitative research and who has an understanding of the different techniques across face to face and digital.  Experience of depths and/or groups would be ideal. You’ll need to be able to manage projects and have good attention to detail, as well as having strong communication skills with clients, suppliers and with the team. You will need to enjoy analysis – you will help the team on this. As important as all this is attitude. This is a team of highly motivated people who love what they do – so we need to see passion for and a real interest in the work. And we are looking for someone who wants to get involved and learn.

You can expect to get involved in every area of qual projects, from helping to coordinate, project manage, moderate/interview and contribute to reporting outputs.  And you will be working with some outstanding senior people who are brilliant at what they do, committed mentors and great fun to be around and learn from.
