Quantitative Research Director; is tech and gaming language second nature to you?

This role heads up the quantitative gaming, tech and entertainment client portfolio. It also sits on the quant leadership team, so there is the opportunity to help shape the strategy and direction of this side of the business.

There is a highly impressive portfolio of leading brand clients – the focus here is about nurturing, retaining and growing existing accounts as well as having an eye on external opportunities within this space. The work spans everything from consumer understanding to blue sky innovation, product development, character development, naming, comms development/testing, branding – a very wide variety of client questions and challenges. With a UK and international remit, you would be heading up a team of bright, engaged people.

Integrated research is at the heart of what this agency does so whilst this is a quant role, the quant and qual teams work closely together. They have specialisms including behavioural science, digital and an internal analytics team and they look for smart new ways of doing things – they have won awards for their innovative use of AI, for example

For this role, we are looking for someone an expert in the sector who just loves and can speak the language of tech and/or gaming – we need someone who is either a tech specialist or a gaming specialist (or both). We need a relationship builder: someone who can develop collaborative partnerships with clients and who is a strong (and fun!) team player. And someone strategic who loves the thinking and consulting but who is able to roll their sleeves up when required along with coaching and mentoring those more junior in the team with a view to ensure the highest outputs go to the client.
