They are looking to take onboard a talented quantitative researcher. It is likely that you will currently be at Senior Research Executive or Research Manager level. You might be in a larger research agency looking to operate at the added value end of the spectrum. You might be in a smaller agency looking for a well-resourced, consultative environment working alongside a multitude of highly respected researchers in their field. They tend to attract researchers who are keen to work in a different type of research environment. Their approach is bespoke and 100% ad hoc in nature. Typically, you would have a strong quant research skillset and a passion for problem solving.
As a part of the core team, you will get excellent training and exposure along with the opportunity to deliver complex, strategic projects for senior stakeholders, work collaboratively with team members and take on responsibility for shaping their clients brands and businesses.
What you really need to thrive here is the right attitude. You’ll need to have an excellent grounding in quantitative market research and demonstrate outstanding client facing, problem solving and presenting skills.
