Research Director: independent boutique, high quality work, exceptional people

This is a very rare opportunity offering high quality work, a team of exceptionally talented and very nice people, and great variety. An independent boutique, they have won commendations for both the quality of their work and the innovative methodologies they use.

Their work is very broad across sectors – including the public sector which tends to focus on sustainability and the environment, regulatory bodies and utilities companies which is often around understanding how well served vulnerable audiences are, what their challenges are and how services can be improved for them, as well as some wonderful food and drink clients.

The nature of the work is also varied, including policy work, stakeholder and community engagement, NPD and innovation and brand and comms.

This is a newly created role. The business has done extremely well, including through the pandemic, and whilst growth is considered and measured, they would like to bring a new Research Director in to help them continue with this growth.

They are looking for someone who has an unswerving focus on quality, who enjoys client leadership and development. Someone who brings something new to them – it might be expertise in a new sector, it might be in a new area of research – they are totally open. This person will build out a team as they grow their portfolio, so it is an opportunity to really own something, with all the backing and support of the wider team and founding partners.

This is a mixed methods agency and they are open to mixed methods, quant or qual specialists.

This agency has bases in London and Bristol; they are very flexible in terms of working patterns and base.

If you are looking for all the quality of a top notch agency and to be surrounded with brilliant people – but you want the work life balance that can be so hard to find, then please do get in touch.
