An exciting opportunity to be at the cutting edge of new research techniques, pioneering change, and building on this hugely successful agency’s reputation as leaders in innovation – this is not your average research role! This will be right up your street if you have a passion for driving new and innovative research solutions which deliver brilliant insights, for creating efficiencies in the research process, for problem-solving and for delivering meaningful and positive change.
Joining a small, well-respected team who enjoy high-visibility across this successful agency, this role offers a fantastic level of exposure to key stakeholders (internal and external), as well as a varied and interesting range of projects: AI, machine learning and VR, to incorporating neuroscience and agile techniques for faster delivery of high-quality insights. To give you a flavour, recent projects include the adoption portable handheld sensors to measure the body’s physical responses in order to monitor emotional responses and engagement and the creation of an app to track online activity passively, providing detailed insight into the behaviour of consumers and what they actually do (rather than what they think/say they do!).
As an ‘innovation enabler’, the successful candidate will work collaboratively across all areas of the business to introduce and facilitate the implementation of innovative solutions. You will also provide innovation training across the business (mainly workshops) and engage in external conferences and discussions with suppliers to identify new opportunities. There is also an important client-facing aspect to the work, liaising closely with teams when receiving new briefs to harness new techniques to deliver brilliant insights more efficiently.
This role would suit a quick thinker who has enjoyed variety in their work to date, ideally utilising different methodologies (but they are very open to quant or qual specialists), and applying lateral thinking to meet the needs of clients from a range of sectors. Experience introducing new techniques or technologies would be a great bonus, as would prior social media/marketing exposure – but these are “nice to haves”. Most important are an interest in new techniques, great communication skills and the ability to drive new ideas to fruition.
There are exceptional development opportunities from this role throughout the business – both in the UK and internationally.
This client offers great flexibility when it comes to remote working – as well as a 4 day week if you wish.
Salary: in the region of £40k, plus benefits
Location: blended home/office – highly flexible
