Resource Manager/Planner (RM to AD level); new opportunity to play a key role in implementing and managing a new resourcing strategy

Our research agency client genuinely gets to the hearts and minds of their consumers. They love what they do and they are very good at it.

With a brilliant team of project managers in place to support on research delivery and with business booming, they are now looking for a superstar project planner to oversee the resourcing and financial management of off-shored projects.

This is a newly created and critical role for the agency, with senior level backing and a network of resourcing specialists in place to make it a success. There is so much scope to take ownership, shape the role and ultimately build a team.

The Resource Manager is the person that glues it all together; the conduit between internal teams and global hubs, managing and scheduling offshored projects (in and out) whilst balancing requests, juggling projects and ensuring that the global hubs are fully utilised.

You’ll be the ‘go to’ person for any information regarding offshoring, working with stakeholders in the UK and globally to ensure that everything happens as it should (eg. within budget and timings). Allocating projects, responding to cost requests, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget are just some of your responsibilities.

The very nature of this role means that we are looking for a highly organised, personable and energetic person; a bright spark, brilliant communicator with meticulous attention to detail, who likes to take ownership and thrives in a fast changing environment.

Experience in a ‘juggling’ role (research or PM) and a good understanding of research terminology would be ideal; and some knowledge of financial information (eg. costings etc) along with advanced level Excel is essential.

This is a really exciting new opportunity in an agency with a supportive and collaborative culture; it is an open environment where everyone has a voice and where every role is a highly regarded and valued function within the business.
