Senior Associate (Senior Research Executive-level): data-led consultancy; dynamic and successful global business; exceptional career progression

Our client is a successful global consulting company with a focus on corporate reputation. Positioned as a data-led consulting firm, people who join them from research agencies say the main difference is that the work really is much more about consulting – which is based on a deep and rich data set. It is much more “bigger picture” thinking. Please note, you do not need a background in corporate reputation for this role, but you do need an interest in it.

Much of the work currently is around how to demonstrate value for money to customers in these challenging economic times.  This is about far more than about cutting prices – it is about how companies can be a force for good in society and how they demonstrate that. Another current topic is around how to help both customers and employees in these times of economic hardship: what should companies do to help, and how should they do it?

Your focus in this role would be working alongside the directors to help deliver client work. There is a huge amount of data at your disposal; you will be working with the internal data science team to create robust and compelling insight and actionable recommendations for your clients which feed into their high-level strategies and also, sometimes, their tactical decision making.  You will spend your time translating what the data means and creating recommendations, keeping programmes running to time, creating client reports and getting involved in presenting to clients – who are often very senior leaders in your client organisations – this is all very high-level and high-profile.

For this role, we need to see honed data skills: the ability to pick out the key themes and bring them to life for clients – as well as the ability to confidently recommend next steps and clear actions. We also need someone with a commercial mindset, always on the lookout to add value to clients and so drive growth.

Much of the work this organisation does feeds into corporate and brand communications, campaign management, investor relations and corporate social responsibility as well as issues/crisis management – so an interest in these important areas is a must; you do not need experience – training will be given.
