In this role, you’ll be focusing on the subjects that really matter to the customers of global organisations, building up your clients’ reputations and so driving their business performance. This team is widely regarded as a leading specialist in corporate reputation, comms and policy and they have consistently experienced impressive growth. As such they are hiring at both Senior Research Executive and Research Manager level. This is both organic growth through doing great work for their existing client base as well as winning new business. It’s a great time to join and develop your career for the longer term.
This team focus on providing insight and recommendations around all aspects of corporate reputation and corporate communications for global organisations. These are often very challenging and complex issues and the team work at the very highest level: usually their clients are very senior, very often board level. The core work is identifying current and upcoming issues, recommending how to deal with them, understanding stakeholder and influencer views and considering what action the client should should take. In short, this team advises some of the world’s biggest companies on how to manage and build their reputations across multiple markets and cultures.
It’s very varied – environmental issues, sustainability, diversity & inclusion, security… all the issues that impact on how a business is perceived. You’ll be looking at what the key issues are that affect reputation and trust, then looking at what clients can do to bridge any gaps and/or build up in these key areas. The work they do is both quant-only and mixed methods.
You’ll definitely need to have excellent quant research skills and there is plenty of opportunity to get involved in qualitative research (which you will receive first class training on). We are therefore open to hearing from quant-focused candidates who are interested in getting involved in qual as well as mixed methods researchers.
You’ll need an interest in the corporate world but not necessarily a background in reputation research. You’ll need the confidence to work alongside senior stakeholders and clients – you will get exposure to this quickly. And you must be a self-starter.
You will be working with a smart, energetic, interested team in a people-focused culture where your wellbeing is prioritised. The training and development on offer is second to none and there are very real opportunities for promotion – within the team and across the organisation more broadly.
